Yea so I am creating a C build for the 1st time on 2K, want to know which characteristics are coming into play and when as a center. It was only early in my most recent build when I decided to leave Quick tug Silver for a little while and focus on updating other shooting badges that I recognized Silver Fast Draw gave me the maximum natural-feeling jumpshot release I have had since I got the match. The animation was quick enough to buy NBA 2K MT pull up for the very same types of jumpers I took only it felt much more predictable and smooth. Immediately, my FG% in both online and career games went through the roof.
Having that excess split second prior to the shooting cartoon gives me just enough time to get my bearings and consciously prepare myself to time that the release without forfeiting my capacity to pull up fast for open looks. That extra few milliseconds of mental preparation before every shot is especially helpful in Park games because it gives me only enough time to focus on the jumpshot collect cartoon and visually/mentally variable in lag.
My Park FG% has been up 10-20pts on average when compared with my previous 99ovr builds though my current construct just has its own shooting badges since deciding to depart Quick Draw on Silver. If you are like me and have been struggling to time jumpshots well in the Park, consider lowering the Quick Draw badge by a notch or two and see whether that makes things feel natural.Quick draw was a totally horrible idea from the outset. They should limited releases and jumpers based on position/shooting rather than this stupid badge.
Mines has been since day 1 on HOF. While going into your shot if they're not next to you, The faster the better being outs don't matter and I have been greening always with the bases I use no matter whether it is park, rec, or pro-am.. But this almost about comfortability if you feel more comfort with silver usage it, gold utilize it but also what exactly does play a variable is in what base you use as well.Silver on all my builds, Gold and HoF is simply too fast for me personally in Rec and that I only tend to shoot when I am wide open.Though Dropstep and the backdown has thankfully been nerfed from last year, it is still is a very good move if utilized. But when can we use it? If you start to backdown your defender and they offer little to no pushback and you're bullying themthat means either their power is low or they lack moving truck and post move lockdown or in some instances both. This is where that 99 strength comes into play. You back them down to the position that you want to be in, in case you have to, change ball hands. Be sure so that more space is created by you, they are playing, do not just do the move it has to be purposeful.
